Good work, but aren't ID and a passport similar in nature? I'm sure you could just bring a passport and swap the ID for something else. What would it be?
I used to travel with a little pendent I got when I was 12. It has been in every ocean I have ever been in except for recent years. It is now in a frame on my wall.
A smart phone is a life saver most of the time, whether for maps or making quick money transfers, or checking emails or communicating with locals via translator apps. It is an excellent tool.

Cheers for the good question,

Just need to remember to take the charger and an adapter!!
Definitely an adapter. I got ripped off in London because I forgot an adapter. £10 in a main street, £2 in the suburbs.
Ha Ha that is x5 times less!!! Yeah you really did get ripped off, hope fully we wont get ripped off when we go back.
