Really? I find writing and reading the most exciting! Maybe you are not challenging yourself enough when doing those subjects, or maybe the curriculum is a bit easy. I like writing movies in my spare time, so I guess I am a bit biased.
Robotics would be a very cool subject to have introduced, I definitely agree on that. You must have heard about the Lego Mindstorms robotics sets you can get.

I would introduce Robotics to replace writing and reading because in my opinion those two are the most boring.
