Pastel Blending Art

Yesterday we had a reliever (Mr Simmons) who did art with us in the afternoon. The art that we did was pastel blending art. Basically we drew a plant then mixed/blended a load of colour together to create a really nice texture and colour. The art was actually quite simple after I got the hang of it.

Newspaper Art

Materials:

1. Newspaper
2. Yellow Paint
3. White Paint
4. Black Paint
5. Coloured Card

Method:

1. Think of a sports position
2. Search for the image online
3. Draw or Trace the image onto some newspaper
4. Paint the image with white paint
5. Wait for the white paint to dry
6. Paint the image with yellow paint
7. Trace the outline with black paint
8. Wait for all the paint to dry
9. Tear very carefully around the edge
10. Paste the art onto coloured card
