In class today we were doing problem solving. The question that was asked was "Sam, Sonny, Tim and John have been collecting their lollies. Sonny has half as much as Sam, Tim has 69 less than John, Sam has 68, and John has seven times more than Sonny. How many lollies do each boys have?" Not only that but I also did the extension and the super challenge. In my opinion all of these were quite easy as I completed it in under 5 minutes.

DLO on Key Competencies
This week in room 6 we learnt about the key competencies (KC's). The KC's are thinking, relating to others, using symbols, language and text, managing self and also participating and contributing. We remember the key competencies by a simple acronym... TRUMP. Having these values will help with the way that we handle our selves, our learning and others in and outside of the classroom.
